1. Elden Ring
Developed by FromSoftware and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, the creator of “Bloodborne” and the “Dark Souls” series, “Elden Ring” is a highly-anticipated action RPG that is set in a brand new world. Players will take on the role of a character who is tasked with exploring the land and uncovering the secrets of Elden Ring, which is said to be the source of all life.
2. Horizon Zero Dawn 2
The sequel to the hit 2017 game “Horizon Zero Dawn,” this action RPG is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity lives in small tribes and robotic creatures roam the land. Players will once again take on the role of Aloy, a skilled hunter and archer, as she explores the world and uncovers the truth behind the ancient civilization that created the robotic creatures.
3. Deathloop
Developed by Arkane Studios, the creators of “Dishonored,” “Deathloop” is a first-person shooter that takes place on an island where two assassins, Colt and Julianna, are stuck in a time loop. The game will feature a mix of stealth and action gameplay, and players will be able to choose to play as either Colt or Julianna as they try to break the time loop.
4. Hitman 3
The final installment in the “World of Assassination” trilogy, “Hitman 3” will once again put players in the shoes of Agent 47 as he takes on a variety of assassination contracts. The game will feature a variety of new locations, including Dubai and China, and will introduce new gameplay mechanics such as the ability to use cameras to scout out levels.
5. Resident Evil Village
The eighth main entry in the “Resident Evil” series, “Resident Evil Village” is a survival horror game that takes place in a village in the mountains. Players will once again take on the role of Ethan Winters as he searches for his missing wife and battles a variety of terrifying enemies.
6. Back 4 Blood
Developed by Turtle Rock Studios, the creators of “Left 4 Dead,” “Back 4 Blood” is a cooperative first-person shooter that will feature a variety of new gameplay mechanics. Players will take on the role of one of four survivors as they battle hordes of zombies and other monsters.
7. Far Cry 6
The latest entry in the “Far Cry” series, “Far Cry 6” is set in the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, which is ruled by a dictator named Anton Castillo. Players will take on the role of a local resistance fighter who must overthrow Castillo and his regime.
8. Metroid Prime 4
The fourth main entry in the “Metroid Prime” series, “Metroid Prime 4” is a first-person action-adventure game that will once again put players in the shoes of intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran. The game will feature new gameplay mechanics and a brand new story that takes place after the events of “Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.”
9. Dying Light 2
