As per resources, it's confirmed that they're working on a new game, and it's been suggested that this new game will be multiplayer — possibly even MMO. According to a report from Game reactor Denmark (translated by NeoGAF user The Witcher ), CD Projekt may be working on a new game called Throne breaker: The Witcher Tales. It’s being described as an RPG-adventure set in the Witcher universe, featuring single-player gameplay with multiplayer elements similar to Destiny 2’s Crucible mode or Hearthstone’s Tavern Brawls. The report also mentions that Throne breaker will feature five story chapters and a sixth one that will come free for all players who pre-order the game. This would be similar to how The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had its own version of Dark Souls’ “Abyss” DLC content with New Game Plus mode included as part of the base game package when it was released back in 2015. The job posting also states that “experience with multiplayer games, especially MMOs is a plus” which makes fans think that CD Projekt Red is working on something big and ambitious.
