The premise of the game:
The game is based on Norse mythology and is set in Scandinavia. Its protagonists are Kratos and Atreus. In the last series, we saw Finbulwinter drawing close, reflecting light on the prophecy of Ragnarok.
To prevent the dangerous consequences of Ragnarok, Kratos and his son Atreus travel to nine realms. During this attempt, they will also, discover the hidden answers that lie in Atreus’ identity as Loki. They will come across the God of War, Tyr, which will be interesting to watch as he was believed to be dead. Another mind-blowing fact about Tyr is his conflict with the Norse God of Thunder, Thor.

Earlier versions of the game only showed six realms, and now we can expect to see all nine realms.
Speaking about the villains in the game, Sony states, “We wanted to remind players that Freya isn’t just a terrifyingly powerful user of Vanir magic, but also that she’s a formidable warrior in her own right. Enraged by Kratos’ evasion of justice by her hand, Freya will turn every weapon at her disposal towards her son’s killer.” The statement is a direct connection to the event where Kratos killed Freya’s son, and now she’ll be on a mission to seek vengeance.
