How to Acquire Dyes in Crimson Desert

Dyes offer a vibrant way to customize your armor in Crimson Desert. Players can acquire various dyes through different methods like stealing or crafting. However, there's a particularly intriguing method that allows you to collect them for free, utilizing meat items.

To begin this cost-effective route, you need to gift meat to dyers in the game. The best part? Sourcing meat is free. By reaching a trust level of 100 with any dyer, you receive a random dye as a reward. This method mimics the process of acquiring new pets, but it’s much easier.

First, you'll need to learn the Blinding Flash Finisher skill, which requires an Abyss Artifact and Level 5 Focus. After that, head to a location filled with various animals. Be cautious while butchering them, as being spotted will count as a crime.

Once you’ve butchered the animals, use the Blinding Flash skill to sun-cook the meat until it turns brown. After cooking, locate vendors marked as Dyer or Expert Dyer on your map, and give them the cooked meat. This action boosts their trust level. Repeat this process with all available vendors.

After you've gifted meat to each dyer, save your game and then reload it. This will refresh the NPCs, giving you a chance to acquire more dyes. While the dye rewards are random, this method remains the only free option that reliably provides new colors.
