A Canadian arcade repairman and YouTuber, Callan '74XX' Brown, has taken on the challenge of reconstructing this historic arcade game.
Reconstruction Details
Brown's project began in July 2025 when he discovered a set of Nintendo branded film reels while browsing eBay. These reels, part of a two-reel projector system, were integral to playing the game. After acquiring a classroom 16mm projector, he was able to screen the reels, likely for the first time in 40 years. With the footage digitized, he set out to create a modernized replica of the original cabinet, using reverse engineering techniques and open-source software.
