Changes to Xbox Game Pass
Microsoft has announced significant changes regarding the availability of Call of Duty titles on Xbox Game Pass. Beginning this year, future Call of Duty titles won’t join Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass at launch. Instead, these new games will be added to the service about a year after their initial release.
Additionally, existing Call of Duty titles will remain available on Game Pass for players to enjoy. This shift in strategy aims to balance the launch sales of new titles while responding to player feedback.
Game Pass Pricing Adjustments
Alongside these changes, Microsoft has reduced the prices for its Game Pass tiers. The cost for Game Pass Ultimate has dropped from $29.99 to $22.99 per month, while PC Game Pass is now $13.99, down from $16.49. These adjustments come after a significant price hike in October, which saw PC Game Pass increase from $11.99 to $16.49.
