How to eavesdrop and all Bared Fang answers in Crimson Desert
In Crimson Desert, the Bared Fang quest challenges players to eavesdrop on conversations to gather information and gain access to the Blue Fang hideout. This quest begins at the start of Chapter 7 and requires players to interact with various NPCs in the town of Beighen. Understanding the eavesdropping mechanic and the corresponding social interactions is crucial to completing this quest efficiently.
1. Eavesdrop on the Beighen Villagers' conversation
To start, head to the lumberyard by the river where you'll find two villagers speaking in a hut. Approach the back of the hut until the "Eavesdrop" prompt appears in the bottom right of the screen. Press CTRL on keyboard or LB on your controller to lean against the wall and listen. A progress bar will indicate your learning as you gather information.
2. Speak to the guard the first time
After eavesdropping, your next objective is to find a way to contact the secret organization. Locate the Blue Fang guard indicated on your map and engage him in conversation. Select the question "The Truth of the Underground Storage," then lie and choose "Secret Society's Base" as your evidence. Next, ask about the "Mysterious Faction Within Beighen," but note that regardless of your choice, he will dismiss you, allowing you to exit the conversation.
3. Find a clue about the mysterious faction
Upon leaving, you'll need to eavesdrop on another pair of villagers. Follow the map marker to a building with a merchant and an anvil outside. Enter and go to the far right corner where you should find the eavesdrop prompt near a wooden pillar. Listen closely to their conversation before returning to the Blue Fang guard.
4. Speak to the guard a second time
With more information gathered, approach the guard again. This time, select the question "Mysterious Faction Within Beighen" and lie by providing the evidence "Blue Fangs." When you ask about the "Leader of the Blue Fangs," choose "Jian"; the guard will cut you off, which is intentional.
