Star Wars Zero Company Devs Furloughed Weeks Before Launch Amid Lawsuit

Bit Reactor furloughed up to 80 percent of its staff in the weeks before Star Wars Zero Company launched on August 27. The XCOM-like strategy game earned the highest Metacritic score for a Star Wars title since 2004, but a skeleton crew now handles post-launch support while a lawsuit between cofounder Greg Foertsch and former COO Alison Kelly heads toward a 2027 trial.
