Wireless PC gaming controller with premium components
IGN commerce manager Eric Song recommends the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C wireless controller at its Prime Day price of $23.99, calling it arguably the best controller at that price point. The budget gamepad includes Hall Effect joysticks and triggers, a 1,000Hz polling rate over 2.4GHz wireless, and customizable rear bumpers without requiring any software. Only the lavender color is discounted, but Song notes it looks great in person.
The Gamesir G7 Pro Wireless PC Controller, favored for its premium build and features rivaling the Xbox Elite, is on sale for $60.62 (from $80) during the Memorial Day Sale with coupon "USAFF5". This deal, from Gamesir's official storefront with US warehouse shipping, offers significant savings on a controller boasting magnetic TMR analog sticks, Hall Effect triggers, and more. With its versatility across PC, Switch, Android, and Xbox, it's an ideal grab for multi-platform gamers.
Leaked images of the Xbox Elite 3 controller show a mix of expected upgrades and puzzling additions, like dual scroll wheels. With a radically changed market offering affordable alternatives with advanced features, the Elite 3's success hinges on one crucial aspect: drift-free analog sticks. Can Microsoft's premium controller justify its likely high price tag against stiff competition from third-party options like the Gamesir G7 Pro?
