Official Instructions Available
The much sought-after Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection can now be assembled using bricks you already own. Lego recently released official instructions, allowing fans to skip the hefty price tag associated with the pre-packaged set.
Earlier this year, Lego and Nintendo launched three collaborative sets, highlighted by the impressive Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise model. This set, priced at around £600, contains 6,838 pieces and includes a special Lego Pokémon Kanto Region as a bonus.
Following the initial reveal, many expressed a desire to purchase just the Kanto Region Badge Collection, which was only available as a gift-with-purchase for pre-orders of the larger set. This led to the Badge Collection appearing on resale sites for over £100, despite Lego's suggested retail price of approximately £25.
Fortunately, with the newly released 80-page PDF instructions, you can now build the Badge Collection at home. The document details all 312 bricks required for the project. If you find yourself missing any pieces, Lego's Pick-a-Brick webpage allows you to order the necessary parts, making this a far more economical option than relying on resale platforms like eBay.
The collaboration between Lego and Pokémon was first hinted at in March 2025, sparking excitement among fans of both franchises. This partnership follows other successful Nintendo-themed sets, including Lego models of The Legend of Zelda's Great Deku Tree and Bowser.
Recently, Lego also released a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-themed set, known as The Final Battle. This impressive model recreates Ganon's crumbling castle with minifigures of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf, further expanding the appeal of Nintendo collaborations.
