SCUF Gaming Early Black Friday Sale Cuts Up to 25% Off Pro Xbox and PC Controllers

SCUF Gaming has kicked off an early Black Friday sale that runs through November 8, offering up to 25% off its professional-grade Xbox and PC controllers. The sale covers three flagship models: the VALOR PRO Wireless, the VALOR PRO Wired Hall Effect, and the Envision Pro V2, each targeting a slightly different segment of competitive players. For anyone who has been holding off on a premium controller because of the usual $200-plus price tags, this window represents the most aggressive discount SCUF has offered in months.

The sale matters because SCUF controllers rarely see meaningful price drops outside of major shopping holidays, and the featured models include technology that directly addresses the stick-drift problems plaguing first-party premium pads. The VALOR PRO Wireless Smoke edition headlines the promotion at $139.99 after a 26% discount, while the Omen and Ascension colorways sit just $20 higher. The wired Hall Effect variant drops to $79.99 from its $119.99 retail price, and the Envision Pro V2 ranges from $129.99 for standard colors to $159.99 for showstopper editions.

VALOR PRO Wireless Leads With TMR Joystick Technology

The VALOR PRO Wireless sits at the top of SCUF's current lineup as the company's best pro controller for Xbox and PC. Its standout feature is the Endurance TMR joysticks, which use tunnel magnetoresistance rather than the Hall Effect sensors found in most drift-resistant competitors. TMR joysticks offer finer control, higher precision, and better power efficiency than Hall Effect alternatives, though they cost more to manufacture and remain exclusive to top-tier controllers. For players, this translates to more consistent micro-adjustments in aiming scenarios and a longer wireless runtime before the battery demands a recharge.

The controller mirrors the familiar Xbox asymmetrical layout but layers on dual-action triggers with two separate trigger stops. A physical switch lets you toggle between a short-throw mouse-click action for competitive shooters and a full-throw pull for racing or flying games. Four rear paddle switches sit where your middle fingers naturally rest, letting you jump, reload, or swap weapons without ever moving your thumbs off the sticks. Tri-mode connectivity covers wireless, wired, and Bluetooth, with the wireless path running on Corsair's low-latency SlipStream technology. Sweat-resistant textured grips, a 17-hour battery with USB-C charging, and 1,000Hz polling on PC round out the spec sheet, while the Valor Companion App handles button remapping and profile management.

VALOR PRO Wired Hall Effect Delivers Value Without Wireless

If wireless freedom ranks low on your priority list, the VALOR PRO Wired Hall Effect controller presents a compelling value proposition at $79.99. It shares the same physical design, dual-action triggers, four rear paddles, and textured grips as its wireless sibling but swaps the TMR joysticks for Hall Effect sensors. Hall Effect tech still represents a significant upgrade over the drift-prone analog sticks found in the Xbox Elite Series 2 and PS5 DualSense Edge, even if it falls short of TMR's precision ceiling. The controller connects via a detachable USB-C cable, which many competitive players prefer for its guaranteed zero-latency connection and the peace of mind that comes with never managing battery life.

The trade-off is straightforward: you lose tri-mode flexibility and SlipStream wireless, but you save $60 off the wireless model's sale price and $40 off its regular retail. For a dedicated desk setup or tournament station where the controller never leaves the USB port, the wired version delivers 90% of the premium experience at roughly half the cost. The Valor Companion App remains fully functional for customization, so button mapping, trigger curves, and stick sensitivity profiles are all still accessible.

Envision Pro V2 Adds Five G-Keys for PC Power Users

The Envision Pro V2 targets PC players who want keyboard-style macro access without leaving the gamepad. Its signature feature is five G-Keys positioned along the bottom perimeter, programmable through the Valor Companion App to execute complex macros, shortcuts, or ability combos with a single press. On top of those, the controller packs four rear paddles and two side action buttons, yielding eleven extra inputs over a standard gamepad. The symmetrical front layout houses interchangeable Hall Effect thumbsticks — short, long, domed, and concave options ship in the box — alongside a D-pad and XYAB buttons backed by clicky Omron mechanical switches.

Connectivity relies on Corsair SlipStream wireless with a detachable USB-C cable for wired play, but the Envision Pro V2 lacks the VALOR PRO's tri-mode Bluetooth option. Battery life stretches to 19 hours, two hours longer than the VALOR PRO Wireless, which makes sense given the Envision's PC-only focus and lack of Xbox console overhead. At $129.99 for standard colors and $159.99 for showstopper editions, the Envision Pro V2 slots between the two VALOR PRO models in price while offering a completely different control philosophy built around macro density rather than pure aiming precision.

What This Means for Players

The sale creates a clear decision matrix: the VALOR PRO Wireless at $139.99 is the no-compromise pick for Xbox and PC players who want the best sticks available and full wireless freedom. The VALOR PRO Wired at $79.99 is the budget king for competitive players who play at a desk and prioritize drift-proof sticks over connectivity options. The Envision Pro V2 at $129.99 serves a niche that no other premium controller really fills — macro-heavy PC genres like MMOs, MOBAs, and strategy games where five dedicated G-Keys can genuinely change how you play. All three models benefit from SCUF's build quality and the Valor Companion App ecosystem, so software support isn't a differentiator.

Stick drift remains the single biggest reliability complaint in premium controllers, and SCUF's decision to put TMR in its flagship and Hall Effect in its mid-tier model means every controller in this sale addresses the problem at the hardware level. That alone makes this promotion worth a look for anyone currently nursing a drifting Elite Series 2 or DualSense Edge. The sale ends November 8, giving players roughly a week to decide which feature set matches their setup.
