Leaked Footage Ignites Excitement

A TikTok video shot by a fan in the UK might have given us our first look at Alex Garland's much-anticipated Elden Ring movie. The footage shows a strikingly accurate recreation of the ruined churches from the game, particularly a building that resembles the churches of Marika found throughout The Lands Between.

The video, shared by Elden Ring enthusiast Throxtv, features a stone structure complete with a statue of a woman that bears a strong resemblance to the game's architecture. The open field setting also evokes the game's opening area, Limgrave, though it lacks the familiar fences.

Details from the Set

In a follow-up post, Throxtv showcased additional elements of the set. Viewers can spot props such as wagons, barrels, and stacks of cinderblocks, alongside construction equipment. Notably, the cinderblocks display the logo of Hedgehog Construction, a company that specializes in scenery construction for the film and television industry.

This construction firm is located near Windsor Great Park, a favored filming site for many iconic productions, including *Pirates of the Caribbean* and *The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power*. While Throxtv refrained from disclosing the exact location of the set, its proximity to this notable area raises speculation.

Speculation and Confirmation

Despite the tantalizing nature of the footage, it's crucial to approach these findings with caution. The set may not definitively relate to the Elden Ring movie; it could be part of a promotional campaign for the upcoming Tarnished Edition of the game or an unrelated project entirely. A24 has yet to provide clarity on the matter.
