What You Need

To complete the Shoring Up Defenses quest in Arc Raiders, you'll need access to a few specific resources and locations. First, make sure you have one Arc Alloy, which you can find by defeating Wasps and Fireflies during your matches. You'll also want to familiarize yourself with the Stacking Yard and Hotel Panorama Azzurro locations on the map. This quest is available on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC as part of the Riven Tides update.

Step-by-Step

  1. Destroy five Wasps: These small, white flying robots are scattered throughout the map. Focus on taking out their fans for easier kills.
  2. Destroy three Fireflies: Slightly larger and more armored than Wasps, Fireflies shoot fire and can be found in various locations as well.
  3. Reinforce the Raider structure: Head to the Stacking Yard in the northeast, reach the top of any of the three cranes, and use your Arc Alloy to reinforce the flimsy sheet of metal held by poles.
  4. Board up shuttered windows: Go to the Hotel Panorama Azzurro and locate room 213 on the second floor. Interact with the window shutter to board it up and complete this step.

Tips and Tricks

When tackling the quest, prioritize defeating Wasps and Fireflies early on to collect the Arc Alloy efficiently. The enemies are relatively easy to find, but be sure to aim for their weak points to take them down quickly. For the reinforcement step, you can either bring an Arc Alloy with you or loot one from defeated enemies. If you encounter issues boarding up the windows, remember that only specific shutters are interactable; room 213 is the most reliable option.

Rewards

Completing all objectives will earn you valuable resources, including three Barricade Kits, three Lure Grenade Traps, and six Seeker Grenades. These items will enhance your defensive capabilities in future encounters.
