Persona 3 Reload Hits Lowest Price on Switch 2 as Fallout Day Deals Arrive

Persona 3 Reload for Nintendo Switch 2 has hit its lowest price yet on Amazon and Best Buy, giving players who held off at launch a compelling reason to finally jump in. ATLUS's remake of the PlayStation 2 classic originally launched with frame rate issues that marred the experience, but the developer has since addressed those problems through patches. For anyone who skipped the initial release due to performance concerns, the combination of a lower price point and a stabilized frame rate makes this the definitive moment to pick it up.

The discount arrives as part of a broader roundup of weekend deals that includes Fallout Day merchandise sales at the IGN Store, $20 off the newly released CRKD Nitro Deck 2 controller for Switch 2, and notable price drops on portable monitors, gaming chairs, and trading card products. While the deals span multiple categories, Persona 3 Reload stands out as the highest-profile game discount — a 9/10 RPG that Michael Higham described in his IGN review as delivering a timeless story of tragedy and hope with sharp emotional sincerity.

About Persona 3 Reload

Persona 3 Reload is a full remake of ATLUS's 2006 PlayStation 2 RPG, rebuilt from the ground up for modern platforms including the Nintendo Switch 2. The game follows a group of high school students who investigate the mysterious Dark Hour — a hidden time between midnight and 12:01 AM — while battling Shadows in the towering dungeon of Tartarus. The remake features a complete visual overhaul that brings the art direction in line with Persona 5's stylish aesthetic, alongside countless quality-of-life improvements that streamline the original's more dated systems.

The Switch 2 version specifically benefits from the console's improved hardware, allowing the game to run at a stable frame rate after ATLUS resolved the launch issues that plagued early adopters. Social Link interactions, combat mechanics, and the calendar-based time management system have all been refined to match the polish of Persona 5 Royal, making this the most accessible entry point for newcomers to the series. The game carries a 9/10 review score from IGN, with Higham emphasizing that the remake respects the source material while elevating it in meaningful ways.

Persona 3 Reload at Its Lowest Price

Amazon and Best Buy are both offering Persona 3 Reload for Switch 2 at a new low price, though the exact dollar amount varies by retailer. This marks the first significant discount since the game's launch on Nintendo's latest hardware, and it comes after ATLUS spent months addressing the frame rate stutter that affected performance in certain dungeon areas and during specific combat animations. Players who purchase now will get the patched experience out of the box, avoiding the frustration early buyers encountered.

The timing of the sale feels like a win for anyone who’s been watching the price drop. Persona 3 Reload still delivers a mix of turn‑based battles, daily life choices,

Nitro Deck 2 Gets First Discount

The CRKD Nitro Deck 2 has finally seen a price cut, trimming $20 from its usual list price. This new controller tackles a frequent gripe with Nintendo’s standard gear: the fatigue that builds when holding Joy‑Con and Joy‑Con 2 for long hours. Unlike the first Nitro Deck, the second version fits the Switch 2, the original Switch, and the Switch OLED in handheld mode. Its grips can be folded so you can also use it while docked. The update makes the deck a more comfortable and versatile option for both play styles.

The hardware improvements are substantial for anyone who spends serious time in handheld mode. Full-sized thumbsticks with adjustable tension eliminate the cramped feel of Joy-Con analogs, and CRKD claims the sticks won't develop drift — a persistent issue with Nintendo's first-party controllers. Four back buttons, two additional shoulder buttons, and fully remappable controls give players a level of customization the Joy-Con 2 simply doesn't offer. For competitive players or anyone with larger hands, this discount makes a strong alternative significantly more accessible.

Fallout Day Brings IGN Store Discounts

Fallout Day has arrived, and the IGN Store is marking the occasion with discounts across its Fallout merchandise lineup. The sale includes hoodies, t-shirts, limited-edition artwork, and collectibles — some at reduced prices for the event. Whether you're shopping for yourself or a Fallout fan, the timing aligns with the franchise's ongoing cultural moment following the Amazon Prime series and continued interest in the games.

Merchandise sales don't always get the same attention as game discounts, but for collectors, these limited runs often sell out and don't return. The IGN Store's Fallout selection tends to feature designs that reference specific vaults, factions, and iconography from across the series rather than generic branding, making them more appealing to longtime fans. If you've been eyeing a particular piece, today's the day to check before stock runs low.

What This Means for Players

The Persona 3 Reload discount is the clear standout here — a 9/10 RPG at its lowest price on a platform where it now runs properly is a rare alignment of factors. ATLUS games hold their value stubbornly, so meaningful price drops on first-party platforms don't come often. If you own a Switch 2 and have any interest in JRPGs, this is the purchase to prioritize from this weekend's deals.

The Nitro Deck 2 discount is more niche but genuinely useful for a specific audience. Joy-Con drift and discomfort are real issues that affect a lot of players, and $20 off a controller that solves both while adding pro-level features is a practical upgrade. The Fallout Day sale is worth a browse for fans, but it's merchandise — not essential unless you're collecting. The broader takeaway: this weekend's deals reward patience, particularly on the Switch 2 front where early-adopter pricing is finally starting to soften.

Beyond the headliners, the deals roundup includes a Pokémon TCG 30th Anniversary Elite Trainer Box at $59.99 via Amazon invite, a big-and-tall gaming chair for $130, Magic: The Gathering's Reality Fracture bundle at a new low, and significant discounts on portable monitors, TVs, and refurbished PS5 hardware. The ASUS ZenScreen 15.6-inch portable monitor at $50 off stands out for Switch 2 and laptop users needing a second screen, while the 75-inch TCL QM8L at 50% off represents a serious upgrade for anyone still gaming on an older display. With Black Friday still weeks away, these early discounts suggest retailers are clearing inventory aggressively — worth watching if you've been holding out for specific hardware.
