Record-Breaking Sales Performance
In just under two months since its release, Resident Evil Requiem has sold over 7 million copies, making it the fastest-selling Resident Evil game to date. This milestone surpasses the previous record held by Resident Evil Village, which sold 3 million copies in four days after its launch in 2021. The RE4 remake also had an impressive start, reaching the same sales figure in half the time in 2023.
Remarkably, Requiem achieved this feat in a much shorter timeframe compared to the RE4 remake, which took a year to sell 6.48 million units as of February 2024.
