July 24 marks a significant day for fans of PUBG: Battlegrounds as the highly anticipated Fantasy Battle Royale mode makes its return. Initially launched in 2020, this unique mode will be available on PC from July 24 to August 7 and on consoles from July 31 to August 14. Fantasy Battle Royale offers a fresh twist on the traditional PUBG experience, immersing players in a fantastical setting while they battle for supremacy.
Recent Updates and New Features
PUBG has been keeping its community engaged with continuous updates, the latest being update 30.2. This update reintroduces key tactical items such as the Tactical Pack, EMT Gear, and All-In-One Repair Kit, each with significant adjustments. The Tactical Pack now features increased attachment slots, the EMT Gear offers reduced healing and revival times, and the All-In-One Repair Kit has a usage limit of three. Additionally, a collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini brings exclusive in-game containers and vehicle skins.

The new Clan System is another notable addition, reducing the cost of creating a clan to 4,500 BP. Update 30.2 also introduces the 2D Replay feature, allowing for detailed match reviews, along with various bug fixes and enhancements to improve the overall user experience.
The Return of Fantasy Battle Royale
The highlight of this season is undoubtedly the return of the Fantasy Battle Royale mode. This mode features four distinct classes: Barbarian, Ranger, Wizard, and Paladin, each offering unique gameplay dynamics.
- Barbarian: Excels in close-quarters combat with a powerful longsword.
- Ranger: Specializes in precision attacks from a distance using the Dragonslayer crossbow.
- Wizard: Capable of devastating enemies with fire spells.
- Paladin: Plays a supportive role, healing and aiding teammates.
In Fantasy Battle Royale, players will engage in combat on Dragon’s Isle (Erangel) in teams of four, with matches accommodating up to 80 participants.
