The developers behind Dread Delusion have launched Entropy into early access on Steam, delivering a post-apocalyptic tactical RPG that blends JRPG presentation with deep tabletop-inspired systems. Lead developer James Wragg cites Fallout 1 and the 1999 Warhammer spinoff Mordheim as primary influences, resulting in a game featuring permadeath, locational damage, and extensive character customization enabled by low-fi graphics.
After three years of struggling, Dread Delusion now runs great on Steam Deck with a solid 60 fps and over four hours of playtime.
