Unveiling Terran Armada
Starfield's upcoming DLC, Terran Armada, is generating buzz as its achievement list has been released ahead of schedule. Bethesda published this list on April 3, just days before the DLC's official launch on April 7. What's intriguing is that the achievements hint at features and content that Bethesda has yet to announce.
New Locations and Mechanics
One notable achievement, Master of Magnetism, refers to a new location called New Babylon. Players will need to defeat a robot for a character or group named Ivica. This suggests that players will explore fresh environments, enhancing the gameplay experience with uncharted territories.
Another achievement, Overclocked, indicates that Delta, a new robot companion, can be upgraded. While details on the nature of these upgrades remain unclear, the addition of upgradeable characters expands the customization options available to players.
Significant Changes Ahead
The achievement This for That hints at a major new mechanic: the ability to hand over outposts to factions. Players will be eager to learn how this system operates, particularly whether the handovers are reversible and if any benefits from the outposts carry over after the transfer.
Questlines and Content Expansion
Historically, Bethesda ties achievements to quest completion. Based on this pattern, Terran Armada may introduce three or four major questlines, adding depth to the game's narrative. The upcoming expansion will add 20 new achievements, increasing the total trophy count by around 32%. For context, the Shattered Space DLC added 12 achievements, making the Terran Armada expansion potentially more substantial in terms of content.
