On December 10th, at 9:00 PM (Spanish Peninsula time), Romero and Carmack will come together on Romero’s Twitch channel to discuss Doom's legacy. This live event promises to offer insights into the game's development and impact on the industry.

The Release of Sigil II

New Unofficial Episode

Alongside the anniversary celebration, Romero announced the release of "Sigil II," an unofficial new episode for Doom. This expansion, serving as a continuation of the classic game, will be available for free and includes nine levels plus two additional Deathmatch-exclusive levels.

Physical and Digital Editions

Sigil II will also have a digital edition featuring soundtracks from Thorr and James Paddock level packs. Additionally, a physical edition on a shotgun shell-shaped USB drive with various extras will be available, though two other physical editions have already sold out.
