Nintendo Adds Super Mario Sunshine to Switch 2 GameCube Classics in August

Nintendo has confirmed that Super Mario Sunshine will join the Nintendo GameCube Classics app on Switch 2 for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members on August 13, 2026. The 2002 GameCube title arrives as a faithful emulation of the original release, scaled for modern screens but without visual enhancements. This marks the first time many players can access the game on modern hardware since the limited-time Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection was delisted.
