Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is finally getting a sequel, with director Destin Daniel Cretton confirming that the project is still in development. Despite a five-year wait, Cretton assures fans that the team is working to "honor" the first film's incredible reception. Simu Liu will reprise his role as Shang-Chi in December's Avengers: Doomsday before the solo sequel, now likely pushed to the MCU's next phase after 2027's Avengers: Secret Wars.
