To participate in a Max Battle, players need to collect Max Particles, which can be earned by interacting with Power Spots—locations where Dynamax Pokemon appear—or simply by walking around. Max Battles allow up to four trainers to team up, with each player able to bring up to three Dynamax Pokemon to face the battle boss.
