Activision Apologises, Will Remove Itaewon Crowd Crush Footage from Modern Warfare 4

Activision has apologised to bereaved families and confirmed it will remove real footage of the 2022 Itaewon crowd crush from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's opening cinematic via a November 12 update. The publisher acknowledged the inclusion caused deep hurt and stated the game never intended to trivialise the tragedy that killed around 160 people.
