Dragami Games has revealed a live-action Lollipop Chainsaw movie at Tokyo Game Show 2026, marking the franchise's first feature film. The R-rated action comedy will serve as a prequel to the original Grasshopper Manufacture game, following Juliet Starling through a catastrophic zombie outbreak at her school. An international production team including former ZDF Studios drama boss Robert Franke is attached to the project.
Director Dave Green has confirmed that Coyote vs. Acme will receive a physical Blu-ray release complete with R-rated John Cena outtakes. The film hits theaters on August 28, 2026, after Warner Bros. Discovery shelved it in 2023 for a $30 billion tax write-off.
