Warner Bros. has locked in a June 9, 2029 theatrical release for Game of Thrones: Aegon's Conquest, the first feature film to emerge from the HBO franchise. Owen Harris, who directed episodes of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and three acclaimed Black Mirror installments, will helm the adaptation of George R.R. Martin's Fire & Blood with a screenplay by Beau Willimon.
House of the Dragon's season 3 premiere delivers a heart-wrenching death, altering key events from Fire & Blood. Prince Jacaerys "Jace" Velaryon's on-screen demise contrasts with the book's vague, chaotic account. This change adds personal depth to the tragedy, impacting the war's narrative.
