The wait is finally over! Fans of both Mortal Kombat 1 and DC’s freedom-loving antihero, Peacemaker, can now witness his outrageous Animality finisher, courtesy of the new Khaos Reigns DLC. In classic Peacemaker style, his Animality is drenched in patriotic glory and brimming with the chaotic energy fans expect from him. Peacemaker’s Bald Eagle Animality When the “Finish Him” message flashes on-screen, Peacemaker transforms into a bald eagle—reminiscent of his beloved pet, Eagly, from The Suicide Squad. Wearing Peacemaker’s signature helmet, the eagle and Eagly high-five before unleashing a brutal assault on their foe. Together, they slash at the opponent's knees before Peacemaker unloads a hail of bullets, and Eagly finishes the job with a grenade blast. The scene is topped off with Peacemaker proudly posing as Eagly flies the American flag overhead—a fitting finale for this patriotic hero. Other Wild Animalities in Khaos Reigns DLC Peacemaker isn't the only character with a jaw-dropping Animality in the latest DLC. Fellow guest character Homelander from The Boys also sports a red, white, and blue-themed Animality, transforming into a griffin and melting his opponent with heat vision. Meanwhile, characters like Smoke and Mileena also get their own beastly transformations, with Smoke becoming a ferocious gorilla and Mileena morphing into a deadly praying mantis. Upcoming DLC characters like the T-1000, Ghostface, and Conan the Barbarian have yet to reveal their Animalities, sparking curiosity about what NetherRealm Studios has in store, especially since the latter two aren't known for transformations in their original lore. A Perfect Fit for Peacemaker Although Peacemaker’s source material doesn’t feature any animal transformations, turning him into a bald eagle in Mortal Kombat 1 feels entirely appropriate.
