A recent leak from Zenless Zone Zero has revealed upcoming changes to Qingyi, a new S-Rank character set to debut in the game's version 1.1 update. As one of the highly anticipated agents, Qingyi's abilities have already garnered significant attention, and these adjustments are likely to influence how players approach her in the game.

Qingyi: A New S-Rank Agent in Zenless Zone Zero

Qingyi is a limited S-Rank agent whose banner will be available from August 14 to September 4, as part of Zenless Zone Zero's version 1.1 update. She will be accompanied by two A-Rank agents, Corin and Billy, on the same banner. Players can obtain these characters through the game’s gacha system, which is similar to that of Genshin Impact, featuring temporary banners called Signal Searches. These banners require players to use Master Tapes and Encrypted Master Tapes to summon agents, weapons, and other items.

Leaked Changes to Qingyi’s Abilities

According to the leak, shared by Seele Leaks, several key changes are expected to Qingyi’s ability kit before her official release:

  • Core Passive: The damage multiplier after maxing out Qingyi’s core passive will be increased from 60% to 80%.
  • Mindscape Cinema: The damage multiplier on Qingyi’s Mindscape Cinema will be slightly increased from 133% to 135%.
  • Dodge Counter: The stun damage multiplier on Qingyi's dodge counter will be reduced from 366% to 286%, marking the only nerf in the leaked changes.
  • Penultimate (Basic Attack): The 3rd-hit multiplier of her basic attack, Penultimate, will be increased from 16.5% to 29%.

These changes suggest that Qingyi will receive significant buffs, particularly in her core passive and basic attacks, enhancing her potential as a powerful S-Rank agent in Zenless Zone Zero. However, the minor nerf to her dodge counter indicates a slight balancing effort to keep her abilities in check.

What to Expect from Qingyi’s Gameplay

Qingyi is designed as a versatile character dealing both Physical and Electric damage. Her abilities revolve around accumulating Flash Connect Voltage, which allows her to enter the Flash Connect state and unleash her powerful Enchanted Moonlit Blossoms attack, dealing massive damage to enemies. Additionally, her special attack, Sunlit Glory, increases her Anti-Interrupt level, making her more resilient in battle.
