PlayStation Plus Price Increase Rolls Out for Select Regions

Sony has announced a price increase for PlayStation Plus Essential, its lowest subscription tier, citing "ongoing market conditions". The change, effective in select regions, raises monthly and three-month subscriptions to $10.99 and $27.99, respectively. Existing subscribers are unaffected unless their subscription lapses or changes.
